I
found this book in Ipswich Library whilst researching pumps for wells. It
covers pumps, fans, compressors and turbines which work as centrifugal, centripetal
and axial flow devices. It seems to be very comprehensive and contains
examples and formula for all aspects of pump design.
New
and Second hand copies are listed by Amazon from £5.00 for a paper

NEWS
With
little or no fanfare Crane have re-introduced their book "Flow
of Fluids through Valves, Fittings and Pipe".
During
all my years at CCD Pumps this book was my bible and only a year ago I tried to
buy a fresh copy, Numerous phone calls around the Crane empire, in the UK,
resulted in me being told "no longer available" or "never heard
of it". Thanks to the diligence of Tony Keville, it has been
found and is listed as Crane Technical Paper No. 410 (TP-410). You can buy it
